Safety
Acceptable Use Policy
This policy applies to Ares Realm Studios accounts, hosted AI, APIs, connected services, shared infrastructure, and product features that interact with other systems. Effective July 14, 2026.
Build, Learn, and Defend Responsibly
We support creative work, local experimentation, interoperability, and legitimate security research. The boundary is authorization, informed human control, and avoiding harm to people or systems.
Authorized defensive security research, interoperability work, and testing on systems you own or have explicit permission to test are allowed. Unauthorized intrusion, credential theft, destructive deployment, and attacks on third-party systems are not.
Prohibited Uses
Do not use Ares Realm Studios connected services to:
- Break the law, violate another person's rights, or facilitate physical harm, exploitation, or weaponization intended to injure people.
- Access, scan, disrupt, damage, or control a device, account, network, or service without authorization.
- Steal credentials, personal information, payment data, private keys, tokens, or confidential material.
- Create or deploy malware, ransomware, destructive code, botnets, phishing, denial-of-service attacks, or evasion intended to enable unauthorized harm.
- Harass, threaten, stalk, exploit, impersonate, defraud, or deceptively manipulate another person.
- Generate or distribute sexual exploitation material or content that sexualizes minors.
- Bypass authentication, safety controls, approval boundaries, rate limits, quotas, licensing, or other access restrictions.
- Sell, publish, or share private accounts, session credentials, hosted-service API keys, or license keys without permission.
- Overload shared infrastructure, automate abusive traffic, or interfere with another user's access.
- Present unverified AI output as authoritative in a way that creates a foreseeable risk of serious harm.
Security and Agentic Actions
- Use dry-run, review, sandboxing, backups, and approval controls when a tool can change code, files, devices, accounts, or network state.
- Keep a human decision-maker responsible for high-impact actions and verify the scope before execution.
- Do not ask an AI system to hide its actions, defeat audit controls, or misrepresent whether a person approved an operation.
- Report suspected vulnerabilities privately under our Security Policy.
Enforcement
We may limit or suspend connected access when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect people or infrastructure, comply with law, or stop a material violation. When appropriate, we will consider context, severity, recurrence, and whether the activity was authorized defensive work.
Local data remains under the user's control. Enforcement of connected services does not give Ares Realm Studios ownership of a user's local projects or files.
