Using Our Products

By downloading, accessing, or using an Ares Realm Studios product or connected service, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked below. Product-specific terms shown at download, purchase, or activation also apply to that product.

Many local features work without an account. Connected features—such as licenses, selected backups, device connections, member API keys, and hosted AI—may require an optional account.

Accounts and Credentials

• Provide accurate account information and keep your password, license keys, API keys, and recovery material private.
• You are responsible for activity performed through credentials you control. Tell us promptly if you believe an account or key has been compromised.
• Do not sell, publish, or share private account credentials or attempt to use another person's account without permission.
• Creating an account does not transfer ownership of your local projects, files, memories, or eligible backups to Ares Realm Studios.
• Non-administrator accounts can export their account archive and close the account through the account page. The Privacy Policy explains what closure deletes and the limited anti-fraud records it retains.

AI and Beta Software

• AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, unsafe, or inappropriate for a particular situation. Review important output before relying on it or allowing an action to run.
• AI features do not replace qualified medical, legal, financial, security, or other professional advice.
• Beta, preview, research, and in-development features may change, fail, lose compatibility, or be withdrawn. Keep independent backups of information that matters.
• Human approval remains required wherever a product presents an approval boundary. Do not bypass safeguards or misrepresent generated material as independently verified.

Hosted Services

Hosted models, backups, email delivery, account services, and API access depend on network infrastructure and may have quotas, maintenance windows, model changes, or temporary interruptions. We may adjust reasonable limits to protect service availability, safety, and cost.

Your use of connected services must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may restrict connected access when reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, a security threat, a legal obligation, or a material violation of these Terms.

Licenses

A license key identifies the product, edition, expiration if applicable, and permitted activation count issued with that license. A key may be attached to one account and used on the number of devices allowed by the license.

• Do not publish, resell, or knowingly share a private license key unless the license expressly permits transfer.
• We may revoke keys obtained through fraud, unauthorized duplication, payment reversal, or a material violation of these Terms.
• Contact support for legitimate device replacement, activation, or entitlement problems.

Payments and Support

Prices, included features, renewal terms, and any product-specific refund information are shown at the point of purchase. Purchases may also be governed by the checkout provider's terms and applicable consumer law.

Voluntary donations support the studio but do not purchase ownership, control over the roadmap, or a guaranteed product unless a specific supporter benefit says otherwise. Contact [email protected] about a billing or fulfillment problem.

Third-Party Services

Some features connect to third-party model providers, book catalogs, code hosts, payment platforms, email delivery, or other services you choose. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services. We are not responsible for content, availability, or changes controlled by those providers.

Privacy and Data Use

Our Privacy Policy explains what remains local, what connected features process, and how optional backups work. We do not sell your personal information or use your account data, prompts, conversations, or backups to train Ares Realm Studios AI models.

Availability and Responsibility

We work to make our software reliable and safe, but no software, AI model, security product, or network service can be guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. To the extent permitted by applicable law, products are provided as available and you remain responsible for how you configure and use them.

Nothing in these Terms removes rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.

Changes and Contact

We may update these Terms when products, laws, or connected services change. Material updates will receive an updated effective date and appropriate notice through the website, account service, or affected product.
